With the municipal election set for Oct. 22, Centre Wellington staff encourages residents to take a few moments to ensure they are on the voter’s list.
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) administers voterlookup.ca, which officials say is an easy and efficient way to ensure information is up to date for electoral purposes.
If they find the information is not current, eligible electors can quickly update information, add a name to an address, or change school support.
This list is used by municipal clerks to produce the final voters’ list used for the election.
To register at voterlookup.ca voters need to provide their city/town/village, full name, date of birth and either a property address and; or assessment roll number (found on your tax bill or property assessment notice).
Residents are encouraged to visit voterlookup.ca to ensure your information is correctly reflected on the voters’ list for the upcoming municipal and school board elections.
